My AR MAX is not working!

Ok I used AR MAX on the old fat ps2. Then my fat ps2 broke so I got a slim and now when I put in the disk it loads and when it almost comes to the main menu screen it seas to me insert AR MAX harwere but I put in the AR MAX memory card and the window will not disapear!HELP,THANKS!

ARMAX has no reason not to work with the slimline so all i can say is blow in ur memory card see if that helps
