Hi i'm new at this and i was wondering if anyone could help me.

i went to this online tutorial > http://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/87065.php#3
and followed the steps in the first scenario, adding subtitles with virtualdub and vobsub. However when i >Start Frameserver, it doesn't seem to work.

Non-A/V requests, Number of frames served and Audio segments delivered all are stuck on zero.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
thank you!

Avisynth 1.0 beta 5?? That guide is obviously very old.
Also you read a guide at videohelp, but then post here?

I would recommend following the AVISynth part of the guide. It is still for the most part relivant. You should be using VSFilter though, not VobSub.

You didn't say what you were frameserving to though. So you save the frameserver file, then open and encode with what?
