ok i've been using dvd shrink 3.2 for a few months now and just recently i've been getting this problem, could it be my dvd burner? I have a Memorex Double Layer 16X drive, anyways this is the error I get when I try backing up either an original dvd or even one of my old backups:

Please remove your Nero serial Number. It begins w/ 1A20............

1. Update Nero as you are about 3 versions behind

Looks like you are missing files asn the Ifo told Nero there should be a 'VTS_06_2.VOB' . What ripping program did you use to rip the file to HD

You need to if you can to cut off some processes as you only have close to the bare minimum

It would have been nice if you had posted the whole log as it should have been larger than this

well thanks for the help so far Car.Mike

I removed the serial, i did'nt even notice that, dumb me, it's an OEM copy of Nero that came with my burner so i dont even know if i'm entitles to upgrades, i'll kill some of the processes in the background, and as for more info on the log, thats all it gave me, by the way i'm using DVD Shrink 3.2 to rip and burn and it gives me this error once in a while, I dont know why it cant find that file when I was able to burn the original and now it does'nt want to burn the copy

well I think I figured it out, seems that when I load a backup of a dvd and try to use shink and forget (or neglect) to uncheck the same features I turned off from the original (i.e: french and spanish captions or audio) then I get the error, otherwise it shrinks and burns fine

If all you are doing ( if I read your reply correctly) is copying a backup then you can just use DVDDecrypter. Mode iso read then Mode iso write. I am glad you figured it out though
