Im going to be doing this also as the verbatim disc i still have that has dried over 24 hours is smearing. Krylon is probably going to be the best as they have a very good reputation in spray paint. You should be able to buy it at a car store like autozone or a craft store like michaels but krylon has a faq that tells where to buy it here http://www.krylon.com/main/level_template.cfm?levelid=4&sub_level...

As it says in the faq, Never buy any other kind other then the acrylic as the other kinds will yellow over time.

I was wondering though do you just put them on something flat or cover up the bottom of the disc when spraying?

I thought you was going to create a new thread not copy and paste the message from the other one. Read the private message i sent you as ive found out how to do it. I bought the krylon crystal clear coat and then i put a layer of seran wrap on the box and set them on that and spray holding the can up high by my chest so its a mist starting at the left before the dvd and ending at the right and i do that till the disc is coated sometimes twice the first time but i go in quick sweeps and then wait 15 min and do it again watching to make sure im not puting to much on. Initially i put it in a jewl case and it got underneath and i wasnt coating it enough for it to work so make sure you get enough but not to much so that it causes orange peel.
