ive got a scph-70012 and im going to buy another tool or key whatever u call it...i wanted to know if you guys knew which one i the best and easy to install ( SCPH-70012 <-- United States)

You can use the slim tool or Magic key. If you have the v.13 PS2 Sony patched up the 3rd hole used for the slim tool: that has been dealt with here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/220234 You can also use the magic key. Try Pretense's tape and tissue mod explained here: If the fliptop doesn't work, just give up on it and do a tape and tissue mod. Open up your case again and tape the back sensor (toward the upper left and beneath the hinge part of the lid) with duct tape or even regular Scotch tape (I use several layers to be on the safe side), put the case back together, and stuff a small ball of tissue into the hole for the front sensor (lower right just above the power button).
