Any other way besides Duct Tape?

I posted here wayyyyy back about the stupid Magic Switch of A B & C and you can't close the lid. I am talking about the Slim PS2. I'm all out of duct tape right now, and I tried scotch tape and closed the ps2, screwed and stuff and put it all back together, and when I turn it on and the lid was open with Tool B in and a tissue paper for the sensor by the Power button, it was working but then it started not to load. So I opened up the case again and saw that the scotch tape fell out. Is there anything else I can try besides Duct Tape or Scotch Tape? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Nvm, I fixed it. I cut of the tail thing on tool A and cut it in half and put it over the sensor and put the other half over that and scotch taped it. And it seems to be working fine.

lol, I used Scotch tape myself (didn't have any duct tape), so I was afraid that it would become loose -- that's why I used several layers as insurance. Lo and behold, half a year later, it still seems to work just fine =p

The more I think about it, the more the "tape mod" for the rear sensor should hold, unless you keep your lid open all the time for no good reason. The rationale is, 99% of the time you have your lid closed, right? -- with maybe 1-2% of the time open for swapping duties. So the lid hinge should be pressing down firmly on the rear sensor at almost all times, helping keep the tape in place.
