okay, so i pretty much have the dvd ripping/burning down to a "t" but now i'm moving on to bigger and better things...i've been downloadin a bunch of pc games and already have them installed on my machine but i want to be able to put them onto dvd-r's so i can install them on different comps in future if i ever want to play the game again...i was just wondering if anyone could point me to a guide or just some info that explains the process...like if i have a 3.5 gig .iso image, can i just burn that to a dvd-r and still be able to use it to install? can i throw several games onto a single data dvd and still be able to install them? sorry for the noobish questions but i'm not sure how to word this...thx in advance all and keep up the great work
peace

First I ask what mods say about that "Downloaded PC game part"...
So here is some hints about image stuff.
You can burn cd images using "Burn image -mode" in Nero or Alcohol 120%.
IF you burn something as Data -> and if you want to play it, you have to copy them to your HD and mount them to use them.
They will not "run" from data-cd/dvd.

Open Alcohol 120%.
Have you already ad virtual drive? If not:
Setting and there virtuadrivers and make 1 new drive.
Then go to My Computer -> and right select that new drive.
Then "Mount image" and find that image file and push Open.
EDIT:

as long as there are no links to download, or info on where to download the games it is within forum rules. but someone asking "i downloaded a game and no what do i do with it?", it's fine to help them.
I have wondering this for a long time... Now I know. Thanks darthnip

In Nero there is "Burn Image"
and in Alcohol there is "Image Burning Wizard" -options.
And then when you have burned that you might have problme. If you have use drive G to install the game, it might not run when you put it to drive E.
(G = i mean whatever you image drive is
E = i mean you real cd/dvd drive)
So you might need to reinstall it from cd (make sure you will not overwrite or delete save files)

So I unmount it then install from cd? What is the g drive used for then?
Alcohol is only giving me the choice to burn mds files. I have 2 mds files, on e for game cd 1 and the other for 2, can I burn them on the same cd? I also have mdf files that came with the game, wht do I do with those?

Deamon Tool is program to make virtual cd/dvd drives.
Almost like Alcohol 120%. Only thing is that with Deamon Tools you can not burn stuff.
(if i remember right)
And you burn it like this -> One image to cd using "burn image" -mode?
Is it working in virtual drive?
And when using Alcohol make sure to use that "All files" when looking or burning images...

When in burn image window select that MDS file and burn. And then burn that secong MDS.

so I'm having a similar problem I downloaded a game for windows and tried to mount it to hd with Nero, but the image mounting device didn't support bin/cue files. So I burned the bin file on DVD Decrypter and then installed it. So now it is installed but when double clicked on it says please insert a cd-rom and then restart application. So what's next and can I do this with Nero or do I need Alcohol 120? Thanks
