Hi, I am trying to capture the video from my Panasonic DV camcorder using the 1394 port. I am using Windows Movie Maker to capture the video, the video is being transfered but its coming with the Colored blinking blocks on top of the video window. I could not figure out the reason, any help would highly be appreciated.
Thanks

try the cheap things first - I know 1394 is ment to be hot pluggable, but have you tried turning off all your equipment and connecting your cables and then turning your equipment back on again. Also try using a different 1394 cable, this worked with mine. Hope this helps...

Might want to try cleaning the heads on your camera as well.
