I need help.
I have had my modded xbox for 3 years. I haven't had any problem with it beside my chip coming a loose. Xenium Ice. just a few days ago. May xbox froze while trying to play NBa live 2006. so I turn the xbox of because that was the only option I had. when I turn my xbox back on it started up normally. the xbox screen came up then xenium2 then the screen froze. one of my friend told me that my xbox wasn't reading the avanlaunch program. the only program i have is the avanlaunch. I don't have evox. but if I turn my xbox on using the eject button i get the red screen that have the xenium options. you know ( launch menu, Disk Tools, EEprom Tools, Setting, Reboot, recovery, and Power Off...
Now if I keep the red screen up. I can use my computer to pull up my FTP surfer and see what is on my drives... such as my C drive D,E,F,Y,and Z. My friend told me to go into my C drive and replace my exovdash.xbe with a new one but I don't know where to get a new one. I had one of my other friend to bring his modded xbox over.
he his evox and avanlaunch on his xbox but he do not have a chip clone the program to his motherboard. I don't know if that makes a difference. so I hooked his xbox up to my computer. I used the FTP surfer. then I when to his C drive copy and paste his evoxdash.xbe to my desktop. then hook my xbox up to the FTP surfer and put all my information that was in the C drive in a folder on my desktop... then i put his evoxdash.xbe on my xbox. now it move very slow and then evolution screen fades into the picture. now i don't know what to do???????????????? so I turn everything back to the way if was in the begin when is first froze up. and now it just go into the xbox screen then the xecuter2 comes up and freeze. I have a 260 gig hd. I delete most of the games on the HD just to make sure that wasn't the proplem. but my xbox still don't work. if you have any idea or know how to fix this please email or respond. dresus_illmobb@yahoo.com
