I have been an AMD 2400 with 512 meg ram and 80 gig hdd.

I have been using Intervideo discmaster 2 platinum with no problems until i installed Intervideo DVD copy 4. DVD copy 4 works perfectly but when i click on the discmaster icon i get an error message saying:

DiscMaster2 MFC Application has encountered a problem and needs to close.

I went and looked in the event viewer (my os is win xp sp2)
and this is what it said:

The only way i can use discmaster is to uninstall dvd copy 4 and discmaster 2 restart the computer, remove all remaining registry keys related to intervideo, restart computer then reload discmaster. Its somewhat of a nuicance having to do this when i want to vary between compiling a cd and compiling a dvd.

I think when installing dvd copy 4 it might alter some registry keys or something. I know how to delete keys but editing them without instructions - i do not.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks
