hi ppl,
i have finally managed to find the dnas for conflict global storm it is:
PS2 Conflict_Global_Storm_PAL (SLES_525.73)
DISC ID:
XX XX 00 40 5C
anyway, after i make an account, i login in and then it keeps on saying "You have been disconnected to online services".
wtf? lol. wat the heck is going on. I managed to pass to dnas check, but now how do i get past this bloody thing?
any help would be appreciated.

benh, how exactly did you copy CGS if you don't mind me asking because i have not been successful in backing it up!

same problem here, but with a NTSC backup...any solution? maybe its similar to socom where you cant play backups

h,mmm, well,....I didnt use DVD Decrypter to back it up to the pc. I downloaded it off DC++. Maybe the one i downloaded was modded so that it was possible for me to burn it. Thats all i can tell you. lol. ANyway, like i said, i cant go online with it? Any seugeestion?

Since you downloaded it, it's hard to say what could be wrong.

Try making an image/ISO from an original copy and see how yo go.

@ mrwhitedm: I used DVD Decrypter ISO>READ and ISO>WRITE and burned at either 1X or 2X and it works fine. What version is your PS2?

And about getting online, I had a hell of a time logging in, but that was because my account wasn't verified at gamespyid.com. Who knows, maybe that will help.

hmm, i dont think the verification is the problem, since my account works well with heroes of the pacific, and other games that require a gamespy id. Maybe i will just rent this game and buy it if i like it. It seems good anyways.

I think it's the best Conflict game yet. The gameplay is much better. And I know that all GameSpy-powered games don't require verification. Take Black Hawk Down for example, I've been playing that for awhile now and never had to verify my ID until I went to login with C:GT. After I hit login or whichever, it popped up with an error saying something similar to benh's error message.
