Hi everybody, my v3 was only four months old when I had to send it in last month because it would turn off when opening it. Now I know from my dealer that Motorola found that this happened due to a rusting on the phone's USB port. Now I never exposed my v3 to an unusual amount of humidity, just the normal everyday use for four months. The technicians say the phone can already quit its job due to the humidity produced in a jeans pocket, for example. Motorola is not willing to cover the damages and sent a bill of over ? 650,00. I would like to know if anyone had a similar problem, as my dealer said it can happen to any v3, and if so, have you found a solution? Thanx...
