ok i made a vcd and it wont play on my home dvd player.. the vcd works because i took it to my friends and it played fine on his dvd player.. is there anything i can to to makemy dvd player play the vcds? its a kawasaki dvd/vcr home theather system

Are you sure that it can actually play vcd??

If so, does it make any specifications such as, vcd1.1 or vcd2.0? or willit only play cd-rw's or anything?? :)

i have no idea its a pos dvd player not really we just got it.. the vcd works at my friends aand plays fine but i dont wannt buy a new dvd player just to play vcds.. is it just possible to make a .mpg to dvd format if so i need detailed instructions this is really confusing to me

also if there isnt any way to play the vcd how can i convert mpgeg to dvd format i prolly already asked that but oh well

Well you'd need a dvd burner to burn a dvd disk! I suppose you could use minidvd but that only allows a few minutes on an 80min disk so you really dont want to be swapping and swapping over and over again, it would ruin the movie :(

Ok then :)

Youd have to encode the file for dvd and then use something that can bvurn a movie as dvd for you like Ulead DVD Workshop 2 perhaps!

thanx man but i have a mac thats the onlyproblem if i had a pc i could do this stuff but im thinkin import movie file to quicketime pro export to imovie then export to toast u think that would work.. any other help would be use ful .. is there any way i can talk to you through aol or sumthin so i dont have to wait for forum reply.. aol playinard247365 im me if you can thatnx dustin

Sorry man but I don't have a mac so I probably wouldn't be of much help. Also I dont give out email addresses/nicknames for anything because of a problem I had the last time I did!
