I'm having a problem with compiling a DVD in DVD-Lab Pro (newest version).

First I converted a 1.4 gig avi into DVD compatible files with DiVXtoDVD which produced 4 .vob files. I then created all the stuff I needed to inside DVD-Lab Pro (Menus, movies, play all button etc). Here is a screenshot of the connections, assets, and compile windows in DVD-Lab:

After the compile finishes, this is all I get in the DVD folder:

I get only one full vob file, a partial one, and then about 9 more that are 0kb in size. I don't even get any ifo or bup files.

Does anyone know what my problem is?

When you import VOBs into DVD-Lab you have to tell it whether or not to Demux. Did you tell it to Demux or not and have you tried it both ways?

I did not tell it to Demux and I did not try it both ways. Wht would happen if I selected the Demux option?

If you Demux first it makes DVD-Lab author the DVD from elementary streams. Otherwise it has to read directly from the VOB files you started with. It may be having a problem reading the specific VOBs you have or there may be a problem with DVD-Lab's routine to read from VOBs while writing the new files. If it works when you Demux it would seem to be the second one and I'd recommend reporting it to Mediachance so they can look into it.

The asset in is what you have the MPV and AC3 files in that screenshot. It appears that DVD-Lab isn't able to finish demuxing the VOBs (or can't figure out that they belong to the same titleset). You might want to try using DGIndex to Demux the titleset and import the resulting MPV and AC3 files into DVD-Lab.

Seems like demuxing is gnna take too much time and space. Do you know of any other program that adds menus to vobs?
