Berserk ISO issues

I have DVD disk with the iso image of the imported game Berserk on it, and it works with magic disk, and the slide card trick! I can play it fine no issues. So I have A version 1 PS2, and i have HD Advance 2.0 I have loaded one game so far "KIllZONE", and it works great.

Killzone was loaded from original media, meaning i own it, and it works without issue.

Berserk was downloaded and burned to disk as an ISO image.

Question: Can HD Advance load ISO images from the PS2 DVD drive?

The method i have tried is as follows.
1. hd advance loaded
2. hit the convert option, prompted to load game disk
3. use slide tool, and insert the iso
4. it starts, and i name the game
5. about 30% into it it errors out.

Is their a flaw in my logic..
