I don't understand what happened..I burned everything correctly using DVD Decrypter..then I opened up DVD Shrink. I did the backup and everything was going fine..select backup target I did as my burner(Which had a blank DVD in it) it did the encoding fine to C/Incredibles then when that was done it just kept asking me for a blank DVD to put in which I Did and it would say "reading disc" and it just wont do it..what did I do wrong and what do I have to do?

Because the ISO is the video image you are trying to burn. Do you have DVD Decrypter? If not get it...it's free. After using DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter will automatically open and start burning if you follow the steps in the guide that arniebear gave you. It is very simple...I promise.

Shrink will rip and compress your movie to fit on a DVD5 disk, it does not burn you either must create and iso file to burn with Nero or Decrypter. DVD Decrypter will only burn iso files. Nero will burn DVD files.

Ok let me explain..the movie I am trying to burn is The Incredibles..it has some kind of protection on it so I used DVD Decrypter to encrypt it..that worked fine..went in its own folder..then I opened up DVD Shrink and I pressed BACKUP..and I had the target backup as my DVD Burner and then temp goes on my C drive..so I did that..and thats what it is doing again..am I doing it right..cause I have Nero 6.3 in my computer..I deleted Nero 7 cause I was told it has bugs in it

Oh no...BUGS...better throw it out. Read the guides. Start with DVD Decrypter ripping in File mode. Then use DVD Shrink to backup ISO and burn with DVD Decrypter. But really read the guides.

I agree, if you follow bbmayo's guide you will get perfect results. Follow it step by step with no deviations and you will be amazed at how great the backup copy is.

just a quick note if you get AnyDVD it will remove copyright's for you without an additional step but whatever works for you will be great.

Hey there..yeah I have Any DVD but I have no clue how to use it..I see how people say it has to run in the background..but I have no idea how to use it..yesterday I tried playing around with it while running DVD Decrypter but then DVD Decrypter crashed so I figured something went wrong..if someone can walk me through the steps or have some guide as to how to use the program that would be great..so does AnyDVD do what DVD Decrypter does? And bbmayo thank U so much for your helpful guide..it helped me a great deal!

Go to the bbmayo site there are guides for all programs
http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/guides.htm
Your first problem was you cannot send the file directly to your DVD burner in Shrink, the program does not burn it does not have that capability. If you are having problems with the burning part then post some more information. Like you computer specs, your burner make/model and current firmware. What media you are using.

I opened AnyDVD and I got this..
Summary for drive G: (AnyDVD 5.4.4.1)
Drive (Hardware) Region: 1
Media is a Data DVD.
Booktype: dvd-rom (version 1), Layers: 2 (opposite)
Video DVD (or CD) label: Lilo_And_Stitch_2_US
Media is CSS protected!
Video Standard: NTSC
Media is locked to region(s): 1!
RCE protection not found.
DVD structure appears to be correct.
Structural copy protection not found.
Autorun not found on Video DVD.
Bad sector protection not found.
Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1!
Does that mean everything is Ok cause I dont see anything else happening..I opened up DVD Shrink and its analyzing the DVD movie..how come it says Media is CSS protected..does it mean its been removed? Thanks

@AngleFan
If (before you do anything else) you open AnyDVD by clicking on it you will see the little red fox in the system tray of your computer. Then insert the dvd you want to backup into the dvd device you are using. Give it a couple of seconds to load and if a screen pops up asking you what player to use just close the screen.
Now open dvddecrypter. Follow bbmayo's guide from there and you will rip and burn a perfect copy.
hope that this help. I know that when I was trying to do things too quickly I got errors or problems.
I slowed down and my probies went away.
