After beating Baraka, you need to go back to the Wushi Academy via the portal in that room. it will take you where the burning stage was, where the "Test your might" test was and release some water to clear a path. While there, you now have the fist of ruin skill, you can break the statue and find another new ability (walk run), and continue on your journey.
