Hi I have a NEC ND-1100A DVD burner (dvd+rw) I was wondering how to change the boottype to dvd-rom i cant seem to find it

Well your burner needs to support booktyping. What program are you using? http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/242964 That'll tell you for Nero and DVD Decrypter. Also check this link from Mort an AD addict for a Liteon Bookype utility. http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=83441
