hey can anybody help me i cant download some of the multiplayer maps off xbox live, i cant download the bonus level ones and i need to so i can play halo 2 online
What exactly happens....and which maps specifically? You can always try a map pack disk. And if that doesn't work you can try having someone send u specific .maps...although i'm not sure if u can just add them to the directory and t will work.
We are trying to download the the bonus level map pack with Containment and Warlock but xbox live wont let us, it just says to go to www.xbox.com/support which tells us nothing and sometimes it doesnt even get to the download screen sometimes it just makes a beeping noise, we dont want to have to buy the multiplayer map pack from a store, since we already have 7 of the 9 maps if we can just get it online for free but we cant get it. And since we cant download these maps we cant play halo 2 online anymore.
Well an easy way to get around that is to get a map pack disk ionstall the files and then return the disk....u can either get store credit or a complete return. I suggest you do your returns at bestbuy they are good about that. Anyways to adress your problem specifically idk exactly why it is doing that and the only thing i can say is you might want to call XBL and find out why it will not let you download them. And if all else fails ask somebody for the .map files.
You cannot send the .map file over live you have to do some type of file transfer over the interent. If your xbox is modded and you can FTP. You can have someone send u the maps over AIM and them resign them and FTP them back to ur box.
