I have installed several modchips in the past, messiah 2-3, dms 4, magic 3, but this one has me stumped. I installed the magic 3.1+ on a v4 gap and it wouldnt work. I found a loose cable on point B, now i have major problems. The ps2 would boot, but no video/sound. I removed the modchip, and have checked ALL connections, and there is no bridge in the bios or anywhere that i can see, but the ps2 still wont boot. The red light will come on, but the blue will not. The tray will not open or move, but the machine will reset. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this?
