Most any encoder there is will convert your AVI file into a 720+480/576 Mpeg-2 file that you just have to author to DVD with a DVD authoring Program....OR if you want to go the easiest and quickest Route then Just Download the Freeware version of "VSO DivXToDVD" which will Convert your AVI file into a Video_TS folder which you Simply have to Burn to DVD useing something like Nero in DVD Video Mode...It will resize your Video file and encode it and Format it to a Video_TS Folder which you just Burn to DVD......

Cheers

Well not impressed with that program you suggestedt. DixToDVD, didn't make the frame size any bigger and the audio was all messed up. Anything else I can try?

Thanks

Well I"m telling you it does make the Frame Size bigger because you can Not make a DVD with the resolution of 640x272 so it resizes it to 720x480 which is the resolution for DVD but the Movie will Letterboxed with Borders on top and Bottom which there is No way arround because you will either make the Frame Stretched to tall or you will loose a Bunch of the Sides of the Frame when resizeing to Fullscreen....

Also the Audio Being Screwed up is Not DivXToDVD"s Fault it is the Fault of who ever created the File because the audio in your File is VBR MP3 which will "ALLWAYS" go either out of Sync after encodeing or you will simply Loose the audio...To overcome this Problem you Must decompress the audio in your AVI file First before encodeing.....

Try useing "Tmpgenc" then as it will encode your AVI file to a DVD Compliant Mpeg-2 file which you will then have to author to DVD useing a DVD authoring program.....It also has Lots of Settings for resizeing the Frame but you will not be able to make it fullscreen without actually makeing it look worse....

If you PM me with your e-mail address I can send you a tool that will decompress the audio in your AVI file so it doesn"t get screwed up after encodeing....

You still will not be able to Make your Widescreen Movie into a Fullscreen Movie, well Not without Stretching the Image verticaly or haveing to Crop off a Signifigant Portion of the sides of the Frame.....

Cheers
