I have an Xvid file that I am trying to convert with VSO DivxtoDVD to DVD-R. After I convert the file, I play it and the whole video is out of sync, I have all codecs required installed. Anyone know how I can convert it without having the video going out of sync. I did not burn it to DVD when it gave me the option to at the end because I am going to use a different program to burn. When I played it in POWERDVD it was out of sync.

Heres some info of my vid from GSpot

You may try use e.g. DVDSanta or Winavi to see if things are better.

Hi there,

I have had out of sync problems in the past.

1) In some case, it was a problem with THAT specific file only.
Since I had the same issues with that file, converted with several software was always out of sync.

2) VSO DivXtoDVD v1.99 Pre-Release does have issues with AC3 sound stream, and I have rumours that VSO are going to do a full re-write of the AC3 decoder. So soon, all those out of sync problems should be no more !

The most common problem I have seen also was audio beeing 5.1 channels and a few minutes later, or in the middle of the movie, the channels switch to 2 channels. (Which is a NO NO).

So VSO should be able to handle all those "exceptions" in future releases. (Wrongly encoded files)...
