Couple of questions here.

Does it Help to change the spacing from the first layer to the second and give give the DVD player a easier time seeing the second IFO/BUP? Tool Used is PcgEdit

Second which brought me to the first is there a good DL burning software because I have been told that Nero doesn't do a great job with the second layer.

I don't have a clue about the layer break spacing.

Second: Try DVD Decrypter ! It's free.Using it in Mode Iso read to hard drive, then Mode ISO write/locate mds file on your hardrive/Click hard drive icon and all is done.

Dvd decrypter is a high quality program for a 1:1 copy using ISO mode. You may want to give it a try.

I have used DVD Decrypter and Nero and maybe its my player but it has a hard time finding the second layer.

Check out this page http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/third_party/blutach/dl_bur...

I didn't know if this would help by giving it a better window to see it in? let me know your thoughts.

My stand alone player had trouble with my first dual layer verbatim backup using dvd decryptor in Mode ISO. After verifying that dl backup on my benq drive using windvd, nothing wrong with the backup. A new "El Cheapo" stand alone player took care it.

=) I wish that would help hehe. My DVD player has 375 DVD's in it and I don't think they really make a cheaper one =) but it looks like it might be the problem.

Well that worked! It made it easyer for my DVD player to read the disk and it played the second layer alot better. Just a F.Y.I The only thing that I am working on is getting the JACKET file in the ISO

EDIT: On the JACKET as long a it is in the Main Folder ex: C:\MOVIE and that is the dir used by ImgTool Classic it will put it in the ISO

what i've read a few times is that Nero's not too hot at dealing with the Layer Break hence why some ppl (at the moment) use say, DVD Decrypter to burn with as it handles the layer break. i don't do DL burning so can only pass on what i've been reading..

PcgEdit will let you make a space on the first layer for the second one so that it is easier read and found by the DVD player. I burned the same project and had better results doing it that way. It is a 32k gap and my DVD player loved it.
