Hello all,

I wanted to ask your opinion to this as I am new to this process. I recently got ADS DVDXPress to capture all my old VHS and Camcorder tapes and convert them into a DVD.

I tested one out last night and was able to save it to the hard drive. It saved it as 2 seperate files. One is a .mpa and the other is an .mpv (the mpa only is the audio and the mpv is just the video.)

My question is just what is my next step? How can I get these two files into the DVD structure format? If I use ReJig will that put these files into the proper DVD structure?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys and gals.

You need to use a DVD authoring Program which will allow you to add your Menu"s and Chapters and scene selections and it will then format it all into a "Video_TS" Folder which it then Burns to DVD or you can Burn it to DVD yourself useing something like Nero.....

If you want something easy to use then maybe try "Tmpgenc DVD Author" or if you want to make a More advanced and Nicer looking DVD then maybe Try "MediaChance DVDLab Pro" both of which have a 30 day Fully working Demo version available.....

You should also make sure that you have Captured your Video useing the DVD Capture settings because the DVD Standard only Supports certain Resolutions and audio Formats.....

Ok I used this software called ReJig.

I opened both my .mpv file and my .mpa file under the video and audio sections. ReJig then multiplexed and created the DVD files that I need.....but only 1 problem

There is no sound. I know that the .mpa has sound cause I have listened to it. What am I doing wrong so that I could get the sound in the DVD.

Thanks
