I see a lot of posts about the Sony DRU-500A with firmware f. However, I just purchased a Sony DRU-500AX with firmware g. Can anyone suggest compatible media for the DRU-500AX with firmware g? I've ordered some Ritek general purpose DVD-R media since those seem to work well with the DRU-500A firmware f. I would like to back-up PS2 games with the DVD-Rs too. Anyone know if the Riteks are good?

People have mixed out comes with the Ritek and the PS2. I have bought some memorex and Sony blank dvds and they both play with no problems with the PS2. A 50 spindle dvd-r at www.pcclub.com is $49.99

I have just received my 500AX today and it has shipped with 2.0c firmware. Anyone any ideas?
