MK: Shaolin Monks Backup Disc Not Loading

I made a backup of MK: Shaolin Monks a few days ago and everything was working fine with the game. It didn't skip or have any glitches, but now it won't load at all. I'm using SM 3.6 and when I go to load the game, the screen turns black and freezes. Also, I have recently cleaned my ps2 and the lens. Any ideas!!

What brand of media are you using? This game isn't real big, around 3.2 gigs or so it shouldn't need rebuilt. Try Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Ritek, Phillips, Sony, TDK, or Maxell DVD-R's. Burn with DVD Decrypter at 1x, 2x, then 4x until it works. Worst case scenario crank it up to 8x. Here's a guide for DVD Decrypter: http://home.earthlink.net/~moderator/id3.html
