Try convert the mpegs to dvd compliant format with e.g. VSO, then burn with e.g. Nero:

If you have Nero Recode:

Run Recode, then choose 'copy entire dvd to dvd', 'import dvd', then go highlight the video_ts folder of the converted movie, and follow from there.

Happy DVD burning!

Hmmm, in that case, you may try Shrink:

Run Shrink, choose 'full disc', 'open files', then go to the video_ts folder etc.....

Good luck!

If they are mpeg2s they are basically dvd playable if i have an SVCD to go to dvd i don't bother converting them at all, all i do is convert the soundtrack to 48 then save the file. Drop them into dvdlab and use that to author the dvds. it complains that it is an SVCD format but i have not had one that would not play in any standalone. That way i keep the SVCD quality without having to convert taking ages.

Burn rubber that doesn't mean warp speed
