quality of Sony TRV30 and VX2000

I currently own a Sony TRV30 and am very happy with it (other than the
smear from areas of bright light). I am debating between buying an
additional TRV30 or two VX2000's. The camera is for a small
wedding/event videography business starting out. Buying the two new
VX2000's would wear me thin financially but, I don't want to
compromise quality if there is a big difference. Has anyone had
experience with both cameras that could help? Thank you.
