http://home.earthlink.net/~moderator/id4.html#rebuilding This game shouldn't need rebuilt. When you burn with DVD Decrypter you want to burn the .mds file. Burn at 1x, then 2x, then 4x until it works. Here's a guide for DVD Decrypter: http://home.earthlink.net/~moderator/id3.html Use good DVD-R's. Try Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, Ritek, Sony, Phillips, TDK, or Maxell.

v.9 PS2 and later tend to work fine with DVD+R's. v.1-4 PS2's don't work well with DVD+R's. In general I recommend using DVD-R's over DVD+R's. They tend to have better compatibility.

What type of MOD are you using? MODCHIP? SWAPMAGIC with SLIDE CARD or FLIPTOP?

If you aren't using a mod it isn't going to work anyhow... Ultimate Spiderman can be rebuilt but it doesn't need to be in order to work with Swapmagic...

DVD's have different codes you can use a program called DVD Indentifier to see what you dvd's code at.. Some DVD codes are good some are bad (quality wise) you can also read some reviews on rca's and other media types at this website.. Just type in the brand you're intersted in

I had to rebuild NBA Live 2006. I made a straight burn with TC:SNY. Rebuild NBA Live 2006 with Nero and IsoBuster. I have a Matrix Infinity. I believe Ultimate Spiderman has dummy files. You need to overwrite them with a text document.

10. Q. What does rebuilding an iso mean?
A. It means that some games 4.36-4.38GB's may need rebuilt to work with Swap Magic. Games over 4.38GB's will need rebuilt. This isn't true for ALL games over 4.38GB's and differs on a game to game basis. There is no need to rebuild games if you have a modchip.

11. Q. How Do I rebuild games?
A. With Nero and Isobuster (works as long as no single file is over 2 GB's): http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/197949
With CD/DVDGen: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/210515

49. Q. I'm rebuilding game X, I'm concerned it has dummy files. How do I identify the dummy files?
A. From Hursty: When you see the iso has dummy files.i.e 00DUMMY. 01DUMMY. GARBAGE ETC, you need to get rid of them, by replacing them with a file. So on the desktop, right click the mouse, select "new" > text document and rename it as it appears in isobuster, then click enter. Then open the text document on the desktop, hit space once, then save, this will create a text document with 1 byte in it, Do this for all the dummy files you have, as some games have more than one.

Well plenty of people backed up these games, so you're doing something wrong.

So you've rebuilt it with Nero and IsoBuster, CD/DVD Gen, tried different burn speeds, different media, different burning software, shut down everything running in the background, made sure your burner is in DMA mode, defragged your HD to make sure it isn't horribly fragmented in certain areas, and tried Gnie's rebuilding tool? No offense, I just don't think you've tried all that. If you have then my mistake.
