I am unable to use the following sub, all contain negative timestamps. So I added a TIME OFFSET value, but still nothing shows. Anyone has any advice on how to fix this?

# In millisecs
fadein/out: 50, 50

# Force subtitle placement relative to (org.x, org.y)
align: OFF at LEFT TOP

# For correcting non-progressive desync. (in millisecs or hh:mm:ss:ms)
# Note: Not effective in DirectVobSub, use "delay: ... " instead.
time offset: 01:40:24:080

# ON: displays only forced subtitles, OFF: shows everything
forced subs: OFF

# The original palette of the DVD

# Custom colors (transp idxs and the four colors)
custom colors: OFF, tridx: 1000, colors: fdfdfd, 141414, f3f3f1, 474747

Install VobSub and use SubResync program to edit timing.
First you have to check from movie the first subtitle time and write that to paper: eg. 01:02:03.045.
You can eg. pick up the first sub and right-click it as many times you can see a green ball.
Then set that one to 01:02:03.045 by left-clicking slowly and writing correct time. Other subs should follow the time change.
Then save it with another name.

I should have read the included .txt file in VobSub for instructions.
Thanks for the tip, Pelttu, I got it to work now, cheers!
