Hi, I'm using Nero to make dvd videos from .avi files. After burning and putting them in the DVD player, at certain instances a loud horn like noise will happen and the chapter will be unplayable.I am using Nero OEM 6.6.0.16 and my media is Ridata 8x dvd-r discs. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Try convert the avis into dvd compliant format with e.g. VSO (free Version), then burn with e.g. Nero:
