I just got this game. Wondering if it's a straight burn or does it need rebuilding?

Thanks for your help. On a more serious note according to my friend it's a straight burn. I had to rebuild it. He has the slimline and it appears I have something called a ps2 plus. It's one of the online pack editions of the ps2 before the slimline. Apparently they are not very robust as I even had to rebuild x-men legends 2.
