how to burn cd based ps2 game? what program and how?

hello i have a two ps2 games that are cd based and i ripped them to my computer and now i have a .bin and .cue file for both games. now my question is how can i burn the games on a cd and what program to use. someone told me to use nero but its really confusing. can some one please tell me what program and what settings i need to change . i already searched the forum and i dint find anything. thank you

i have the same problem. i have a matrix infinity mod chip and when i try to burn CD based PS2 games it wont work. but it does work for DVD based games. i read the whole thread that was linked and still dont no what program to use.

Try Alcohol 120% using the settings I specified. It should work. I'll have a matrix in a couple days, so I'll test it with PSX games. I know they boot on my PS2 with Breaker Pro. Burning PS2 CD-ROM games is exactly the same. Follow the guide for Alchohol %120, it should work.

hello, i was looking for some help on how to copy ps2 games onto a cd. i have never done it before,but i have a chipped ps2 and i have no games. so any help you could give me would be very good.. thanks

Do you mean copying DVD-ROM based games to CD or CD-ROM games to CD. The former is a whole different process.

hi
i hav exploder v4 pro i try to rip it but it gets stuck n says its got an error. does anyone no how to back up plz some on tell me . my ps2 has a mod chip so it only plays dvd games soi am thinkin of burnin it to a dvd after i ripped it plz some one tell me how to do it.

i have tried backing up smuggler's run which is cd based,i have tried it useing the settings that you said useing alcohole but it just gets to the loading screen and stops,i thought i saw that this game might need a patch??any one know ,and if i do how can i patch it useing alcohole??many thanks

What is the extension of the file you are trying to burn to CD? Are you backing up a game you own or burning a game that's on your HD?

i own the game but have sorted it out by useing cd loader ,dvd loader also sorted out t3 rise of the machines and tomb raider for me to,gr8 bit of software,many thanks anyway

Ok, i've been trying to find the solution for this.. you talk about burning cd based ps2 games to dvd, but what about PS games to dvd, that'll work too, right?

i never backed up any cd based games, i wonder in what speed do you burn a cd game?

14. Q. How do I burn PS2 CD-ROM based games?
A. Use Alcohol 120%. Open Alcohol 120%. Insert the disk you wish to create the image from in your CD-ROM drive. Click image making wizard. Set the read speed to 1x, check ignore read errors, fast skip error blocks, set the write Method to DAO/SAO, select your recorder, set the write speed to 4x, and set the datatype to PS2. Click next. Once the image is created, right click it and go to image burning wizard. Set the write speed to 4x, the write method to DAO/SAO, the data type to PS2, and select your recorder, click next.
