*points* thats the right direction mate..

ah, lol, j/k. NEwayz, I dont' really get what you said... so your GC is not modded and it wont play backup games ? ( well, d'oh )

or maybe ur GC just stopped working out of the blue ? then its time to replace your lens... which will result in a pretty huge bill..

neither way, try to rephrase your question. It will increase the number of replies you'll have, cheers.

regards,

maybe you are right if I rephrase it in a more technical manner so you can understand then maybe you could offer more helpful advice that might make this less like pulling teeth

You're trying to play original copies, correct? Not back-ups? If that's the case and you're getting that message, try cleaning the lens with some rubbing alcohol and a q-tip. If that doesn't help, your lens is probably shot.

Have u handled ur GC well when u have putted discs in? putted disc in fiercely? if so, then check does it even spin discs well, try putting ur cube 90-180 decrees angle when u play, if it works that way, disc holder may be diagonal, try to fix somehow.

And of course discs have to be clean and mostly scratchless(it's not a LP player :D )

The future is not set. Theres no fate but that which we make for ourselves.

it could be that your dvd drive on the gamecube is fried, also check to see if you can adjust the POT. Follow the instructions located here:
