I have a mod-chip in my ps2 and have been making back-ups of my games for a while now. All the sudden it seems that I can not successfully make a good, operating copy of Socom 3.

It loads fine, but then it gets to the title screen.."SOCOM 3 U.S. NAVY SEALS", and decides it doesnt want to load anymore.

I dont understand it because, this is the first game that I have had to happen like this. I've used different media(more or less, scrapping 4 disks already), different drives, different programs, different burn speeds and still have not had any luck.

I know that these forums are not to fond of using Roxio, but thats what I used to copy all my other games. And they all work fine. Now im not worried about going on-line. That does not interest me. I just want to play the game. Please, any info will be helpful. If you figured this out, let the world know!!!!!!!!!!

i have a backup of socom 3.the game works but has dificulty reading de dvd.the videos and sounds pauses a lot.it also takes a lot of time when navigating throw menus and starting or loading a game.what´s the problem,the dvd or swapmagic?the console is fine.i have a ps2 v.7 and swapmagic dvd 2.0

I have successfully copied a good working copy of Socom 3. I used DVD Decrypter in ISO read to rip it to a file, then I burnt it to a dvd in ISO write. It works great...Loads right away. And it does not stall at all

what´s the ideal speed to burn socom3?my backup-ritek burned at 4x works but the loadind is very slow
