WinRar multiple files...clicking first file not working.

I know that his has come up a lot, but I can't find an answer to this particular problem. So I have a game that came in multiple Rar files. I know that clicking the first one with a .rar extension is suppossed to extract all of the files into one, but it doesn't. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Thank you.

It only extracts one file...and its a small file so I can tell it hasnt done all of them. should I be doing the one that ends in .rar, or .r00? and is there something else is hould be doing?

Try testing the file first with the test feature in WinRAR. This next solution will work but it's not really the right way to do it and it will take you a lot longer to do it. Highlight all the rar files and right click on extract here. Then a popup will come up and it will say file already exisits replace it? You click on YES TO ALL. Then go watch a movie because if it's a large file it will take a long time. If that dosent work nothing will.

It shouldn't really matter which one you choose first I don't think. Sounds like it's missing some data. If it has PAR files this will make the missing file or files so it will work. I don't know if torrents come with PAR files though, which I take it you downloaded it from. Yet again another benefit of newsgroups over torrents. Faster and always have the ability to fix corrupted data.

I shouldnt have said if that dosent work nothing will. You can go through each file and use the test feature on each file. If you find out you have a bad file you can just re-download just that file just as long whoever made the RAR did it correctly in the first place. Im sure they did beings you said you have multiable files. So if you find one that's bad fire up your flavor of bittorret and select just that file to re-download. I never had one bad yet as usually if it is bad it just dumps it and re-downloads it. But I would give it a shot to see if it works.

Well, its not corrpted or anyhting else error-ful...So I guess I'll throw in a movie haha..thanks. If that doesnt work, then maybe I'll just re-download

Well I got it to work....kinda

I burned it twice t two speeds and its all sortsa skippy and stuff in audio nad cutscenes on both burns. I used DVD Decrypter...I think its jsut the file but if ou got advice on that it would be cool. Thanks guys.
