Ripping/Backing Up Multiple Language DVD's

I am having a bit of trouble backing up a couple of DVD's that use multiple languages- Traffic and Kill Bill 2, both of which are primarily in English, though in parts have subtitles. I use the method here:

and have tried every possible combo in DVD2ONEX of subtitles- for both of these movies there are two different options for English subtitles. Neither works, I have also tried choosing both, as well as none, but no matter what the subtitled parts do not burn with subtitles.

Any suggestions?
