HELP, IM NEW 2 THIS - I WANT TO BACK UP MY PS2 GAMES ( DVD ) I CURRENTLY HAVE NERO 6 AND I AINT SURE WHETHER THIS CAN COPY PS2 GAMES? IF NOT DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY FREE PROGRAMS THAT WILL HELP ME BACK UP MY GAMES ? SORRY FOR BOTHERING U ALL, BUT INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING ANY OF THESE WOULD BE WELL APPRECIATED, THANX EVERYONE
no need to degrade yourself, we were all new at this once.
1. know that you have to mod your PS2 to play back ups
2. Nero will burn PS2 games and there is a tutorial here

3. always use quality media to burn games
Philips,TDK,Verbatim,Taiyo Yuden,Ritek (i like 8X DVD-R)
4. burn discs at half the speed they have as a max
like i do 8X DVD's at 4X, 4X DVD's i set DVD Decrypter to 1X and
It will burn them at around 2.4X
5. Always shut down any programs that may be running in
the backround like antivirus software. And do not use
your PC while you are burning a game
hope this will at least get you started, there is more to know
like how to rebuild an ISO if needed, or how to replace
a dummy file if the game has one. The best way to find out is
to use the search feature and do a search on the game name
then read some posts to see what others may have had problmes
with and how they solved them.
