Im new to the modding scene. Just wanted to know, ,my ps2 is not modded with a chip. i swap magic 2. can I use HD Loader to put burnt games on my harddrive or will i need a mod chip??

You don't need a modchip to run a hdd, if ya have the older Ps2 all ya need to do is get a network adaptor and a ide hdd along with an hdloader which you can download for free since ya have swap magic, if ya have a slim ps2 you need a usb hdd and usb extreme. I take it you have either a fliptop or a slidetool or another method? If ya do you just swap the hdloader disk for the copied game and then ya can install it onto the Ps2 hdd and play but you also have the option of using WinHIP on your PC but ya need the game on the PC hdd in ISO format, only real pro WinHIP offers is that it is a lot faster than the Ps2 when installing backups.
