Vegas Video 6 & XP64

Hi, i was wondering if anyone here is using Vegas 6 on computer running XP64? I have a computer that is running XP64 and have a problem, Vegas 6 requires that the .NET Framework V1.1 be installed in order for Vegas to run. Only problem is that V1.1 is 32bit and is known to cause problems under a 64bit environment (which it is currently on my machine). There is however a new version of .NET Version 2.0B which is 32/64bit compatibile, but Vegas wont run with version 2.0. I have contacted Sony about this but they arent repling to me so i thought id ask if anyone here had figured out a way to get vegas 6 to work with .NET v2.0?
