DNAS not logging in

I'm trying to log online with NHL 2004 and it is a original game not a back up.When I click on online play to starts to load my settings, First it says connecting to internet service provider ,Then a dnas window pops up and says Dnas authenticating data and ,Then goes to logging on sever screen and that's where it stops every time after about 1min and pops up a window that says please check to see if you are still connected to your internet service provider. If you are,there may be a system error and you will have to again later. I have been trying for 3 hours and still no luck, I don't think it's my internet provider because as soon as I plug the line back in to my computer it works great. I have wowway.com as my internet provider with there fastest connection. This is my first time ever going online please help!! Thanks

When you switch you cable over to my ps2 you always have to power cycle the modem.

in this order turn off your pc, turn off modem,unplugg the modem for a couple mins.

plug cable into ps2, plug modem back in the wall,wait a min for modem to reset, turn on modem,then turn on ps2

Well this is how i do it,tell me if it works,

make shure your network config is set right(you have to use the network disc that came with you ps2 or network adaptor to set up a network config on your memory card

NINVIN21, Thanks for the reply, I just got your reply and will try now, But my modem does not have a on/off. I'll try to do it like you said but with out the on/off of the modem I'll just unplug it and plug it back in.

Ok I have tried to login aand still no good ,but when I put in Fight night 2004 It made me create a ea sport account and then it let me go online for that game. But when I put NHL 2004 back in and tried to go online it still says please check to see if you are still connected to your internet service provider. If you are,there may be a system error and you will have to again later.

Man I really dont no what else to say I have this problem alot also sometimes I will get booted off and it wont let me back in even after I do A power cycle again.

I get the same error as you

What ISp and modem do you have?
I will look into it cause Im sick of it acting up.
