Game loads slowly!?!?

I own fire pro wrestling Returns, and wanted to put in the english save thing, and that went okay. Now the game takes about 2 minutes to load, and i think it is a problem with the way i have burnt it to DVD. I had to burn it at 2x speed, as this was the fastest i could do, and mabye if i burnt it at 4x speed it would load properly.

I have a 7000x ps2 if that helps...

Any help would be hot!
