Hi,
I have a Nokia 2600 that I bought in UK last week. I need to unlock this in USA so that I could use it on Cingular or Tmobile networks as a backup phone. When I insert the SIM of either of these networks, I get a mesg. 'No network coverage'. Can somebody help me how I can unlock this phone to meet my requirements?

2600 is a GSM900/1800Mhz phone. Cingular uses 850Mhz and T-Mobil 1900Mhz.
Thats why your phone can't "see" network.

Hi, i've got a Nokia 6200 from Vodafone Gemany , Prepayd
It is locked on Vodafone, i'm trying to make it work with CONNEX Romania.
The IMEI is: 357620004516708
i was trying to unlock it with some generated codes, after the indications from this forum, inserted another simcard , but when i was entering the unlock codes, after that a message "NOT ALLOWED" was displayed.
Any sugestions? Thank you!

after inserting this code: #pw+494 207 224 254 301+1#
at the final insertion "#" i get the message "NOT ALLOWED"
If i'm trying to unlock it with the Vodafone simcard inserted, it says "WRONG CODE" or something like that.
Could somebody generate a good code for that IMEI ? Thanks.
