if you are getting a write error try using Nero to burn it

i rebuilt my pro evo 5 iso before i burned it and burned it with nero

and it works great and even has an option in the game to play it in PAL or NTSC mode

i use swap disc 3.6 and it plays perfectly

Someone please help, I've bought a copy of Pro Evo 5 and I want to back it up cos my kids dont know how to look after discs. I dont backup many games so maybe i'm a little out of touch but I backed up Pro Evo 4 without a problem, Does this version have some new kind of copy protection? I've been searching the web and I havent had much success. So far i've got a grand total of 13 coasters! I know thats pathetic but I really dont want to let my kids loose with the original. Someone PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I dont think theres anything wrong with the discs cos ive got a few other backups i made from the same spindle and they work fine, although that was a while ago - so for arguments sake i'm going to burn a copy of a working backup and try that.

That should prove whether its the discs or not, am i right? So lets assume the discs arent the problem ... anything else?

has anyone actually managed to backup this game?

thanx for ur response jin

hi
I have the same problem, DVD Decrypter reports all ok, burn, verify ok but when it is put into the ps2 it is ignored and asks for a ps2 disc.

Help please, I do not know whether this is the same problem I backed up 'Socom' succesfully' a while ago. The backup worked and all was well, the kids have lost the original and damaged the backup, went to make another backup of the PC with DVD Decrypter but get the same results as with Pro Evo 5. Anyone got any ideas please?
