yesterday i tried to burn a backup of a ps2 game and the file was an iso but when i burnt it using dvd decypter at 2x speed and when i put it into my ps2 only a red box appeard after 3 mins this was also my first time burning a backup

For the heck of it, try rebuilding that image file using ISObuster and CD/dvd generator 1.20. Follow it up using IML2ISO, and burn the final image. I bet the game will load.
Don't always trust the file you download. Many people get so hooked on creating images, that they forget to test the burned results before sharing them on Peer-2-peer file downloading networks. I always recommend rebulding the image file if it is 3 gigs or more in size.
