Why are all downloaded game in PAL?

This got me extremely frustrated, because i just burned DBZ Budukai Tenkaichi, and i found that it's not compatibal with my TV.

After the work i did to download it,burn it,waste a DVD+R,etc,it wouldn't work on my TV. In fact, i got my hopes up really high when the Playstation 2 logo came at the beggining, because i thought "finally, a working downloaded game". How dissapointed i was.

Anyway, why is it that almost every single game torrent is PAL? Is there anything i can do to download NTSC games? If i search NTSC in any torrent site all i get are either really old games,which even those aren't exactly plentifull,or i get DVD's.

And don't tell me to go buy the real game. Some of my real games are PAL, but i don't mind as much because i'm generally done playing with them.

most games are released in Europe first, so that is why so many are
in PAL. People want them right away. But if you look at enough sites you will usually find NTSC versions.
also, if you use SWap Magic 3.0 or above you can try setting
the screen mode on the main screen to PAL, is is set
at normal by default
I have quite a few PAL games and they play ok, there is a little screen that gets cut off due to the conversion between
the two screen rates, but they work.

If you rebuild the game, and under the Volume settings for CD/DVD Gen, change the License Area to "America." That normally does the trick for me. Oh yeah, instead of inputting SLES, put in SLUS with the appropriate 5 digit number.
