AVI2DVD - question with adding subtitles

Hi there,
I'm trying to burn my 2 avi files to on to 1 dvd.
the avi files came with vobsub subtitles (.sub and .idx files) for each.
now the problem is, avi2dvd seems only to take .srt files...
then how do i burn the avi files together with the .sub/.idx files?
is there any other program other than avi2dvd does this trick?
or can anyone suggest any other solution?
