After extracting the ISO, the game has the files:
Modules.BIN 352 kb
0FLIST.DIR 38 BYTES
DIRIMAGE.DAT 286 KB
DIRINFO.BIN 26 KB
SLPM_659.08 [UKNOWN FILE FORMAT] (3.5 MB)
IOPRP300.IMG 268.89 KB
SFBGM.AFS 1.88 GB
SYSTEM.CNF 57 KB
After rebuilding the ISO for the above files in the correct order and burning them using DVDDecryptor at speed 1x but, my PS2 says it is an invalid Disc format! is this because i did not set the volume name and stuff?
Or is this because there is a Dummy file or is it because the DVD-R make(PHILIPS)disk fault?
If it is the dummy file can you please tell me which one it is because i have tried replacing DIRIMAGE.DAT and 0FLIST.DIR with no luck and wasted about 5 DVD-R already and got the same message from PS2. U see i really like this game, can you please help..
The game is Shining Force Neo for PS2. The original ISO File size is 4.588 GB.
The file is SLPM but it has no type.
AH yeah the other thing i tried using the same methods and the same DVD-R (Philips) for other games but PS2 still says wrong Disk format. I have noticed that even limiting the writing speed to 1x in DVD decreptor it goes up to 5x!
I have one game Digital Devil 2 that worked using different DVD-R type called RIDISC and DVDdecryptor, but i have no more of them DVDs. Then tired differnt games not japanese they are still not working SP2 message "not valid disc format" showes quickly.
Sorry i don't know what mod means. I have Swap magic disk 3.
if the original is 4,588 gb,won't it work with swap magic on my PAL ps2,not the back he,the original? Because the toc is higher then swap magic's?
Please answer cuz i ordered this game online.
Sorry the size is 4.35 GB. Your are asking the wrong person i think it should be ok because all that swap magic disk does is allows the PS2 to by-pass the region code it has nothing to do with game size that what i've been told!
