Hi
Why do different programs show different compression ratios for the same film..everything else being equal...soun,subtitles etc.Shrink showed a film at 48%(ie 52% compressed) while Clonedvd2 for example showed compression at 55% (ie compressed at 45%).Does this mean the Clonedvd2 copy will be better 'cos its less compressed?

It may be because the way you have your options set up on either prog. One my automatically remove subtitles/audio tracks. DVD Shrink should produce a superior quality backup because of deep analysis and AEC controls.
