Hi, I'm not too familiar with the law, but it is legal to sell modded ps2? what about selling a modded ps2 with backup games as a gift?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You can sell a modded PS2 or any console legally, but selling or giving away a backup is illegal.

some people say it is only illegal if you get caught...but most of those people are in jail.but seriously the chip itself isnt illegal.but selling copies of the games is illegal.or then again, check with your local laws it might be illegal where you are at.
